The hotel's location is ideal, with easy access to the train station and bus outlet. It is conveniently close to the Sasebo Ginza and Fleet Activities Sasebo. The traditional dining room off the lobby offers a unique experience, with kimono-clad waitresses serving fish from a huge saltwater fish tank.
Limited options for breakfast, with mostly fish and a lack of fresh vegetables or bread.

During my Christmas stay at this hotel, I found two key aspects that I really liked. the location was unbeatable. It was situated just a short walk away from the train station and the main shopping district in Sasebo. This made it very convenient for exploring the area and finding restaurants and shops. Secondly, the staff were friendly and helpful, even though their English skills were limited. They made an effort to assist me with any questions or requests I had, which I appreciated. Lastly, the hotel offered a traditional dining room where the waitresses wore kimonos and served fresh fish from a large fish tank. It was a unique dining experience that added to the overall charm of the hotel.
There were a few aspects of the hotel that I didn't enjoy. There were stains on the bedsheets, pillow cases, and even in the bathroom.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Sasebo for a short trip. The location was perfect, right next to the train station. Despite the hotel being a bit old and worn out, it had all the necessary amenities such as a hairdryer and electric kettle. The highlight of my stay was the delicious Japanese-style breakfast served in a unique restaurant with a pool of live fish. I can't wait to try their dinner next time!
I can definitely recommend this hotel.

the restaurant at the bottom of the hotel was the highlight of our honeymoon trip to sasebo. the prices were cheap, the food was delicious, and its location near the train station and bus outlet was convenient for exploring the town.
Dim and depressing lighting in the rooms.

The location of the hotel was perfect for our needs. It was only a two-minute walk from the train and bus station, which made it convenient for exploring the town. Additionally, the hotel was just a short ten-minute walk from the center of town, where we found plenty of shopping, dining, and drinking options.
The rooms in the hotel were quite small, which is to be expected in Japan. However, what we didn't expect were the low doors.
